Guest Post: Janette the Jongleur

Hello! My name is Janette!  I'm a wife, blogger, photographer,  and avid Instagram hogger (username:janettethejongleur FIND ME!). I was born, raised, and reside in the shadow of the original Disneyland in SoCal.. I like cheeseburgers, outerwear (LOVE!), people with a sense of humor, cold days that are sunny, and quoting Nacho Libre, everyday. When I'm not at my boring office job, I like to CLEAN (can you believe it?), edit pictures, color with my nieces, and visit the fam. My lifestyle blog, Janette the Jongleur, is mostly a collection of photographs of my daily shenanigans and online fancies. And I'm super duper happy to be featured today by your lovely blogtress, Kristen!  Q: What are the top five things someone should know about you? A: 1.) I’m a woman of faith. 2.) I’ve been married to my sweet Lovey for 4 years. 3.) I photograph and blog in my spare time. 4.) I’m not Asian, Filipino, or Hawaiian. 5)I did not realize I was tugging on my hair in that picture above...Haha! Oops!

Q: What got you into blogging? A:I’ve actually been blogging since about 2003, when I first discovered Blogger (so late, right?). I’ve had numerous blogs, but none ever “stuck” until Janette the Jongleur (est. late December 2010). It was my first blog that I didn’t drop after a few weeks. I guess ultimately it was the desire to document... Thoughts... Events...Pictures...Etc. Q: What is your biggest tip to a new blogger? A: Keep it simple. I think as a new blogger I wanted every widget, blog button, bell, and whistle available to me. The gaudier the better…But a blog is much more interesting when the flash is in the post, and not all around it. Does that make sense? So keep it simple. Q: What would be your go to, can’t live without, makeup item? A: Tinted moisturizer. (Click here to see what's inside my makeup bag) Q: If you could be any age forever, what age would you be and why. A: WOW! That’s a good question.Um.. Hmm..I’m going to say 35. (I’m not 35!) But I was a dummy for most of my life making lame decisions, and acting foolishly.. Maybe at 35 I’ll have things figured out. Seems like a good average age, no? Still young, but not too old. Q: If you had to describe yourself through your favorite stores, what would they be? A:  Definitely a thrift store. I loooove thrifting! Sometimes you find lovely, original, and surprising things. Other times things that are repulsive and overpriced. Much like me. Haha! So telling! Seriously.

Q: Top 3 Favorite Movies? A: Fiddler on the Roof, Nacho Libre, and Sense & Sensibility.(Again, soo telling) Q: Can you link to your top 3 favorite blog posts you've done on your blog? A: 1.) My personal Hair History Post (which I need to update) 2.) The Time I Killed a Spider with my Butt 3.) The short movie I made about the one time I had the WEIRDEST convo at the carwash.
